I don't come
from cinema.
I come with
stories.
I'm Uttam Chand Akkineni — a screenwriter, dreamer, and believer in stories that disturb, move, and linger.
I didn't grow up in film circles. I come from a world where silence held suspense and ordinary people lived lives worthy of cinema.
My writing moves between action and mythology, love and loss, family relationships, emotional drama, and mysteries of the modern world. What connects them all is truth in conflict — that moment when a character must choose between what's easy and what's right.

For years, stories lived in my notebooks and late-night thoughts. I created Stories by Akkineni to give those stories a home — a place where producers, directors, actors, and fellow storytellers can discover original voices without waiting for an introduction.
It's more than a portfolio. It's an open door to collaboration. A place for raw ideas to meet cinematic vision, and for a story no one expected to find the filmmaker who believes in it.
